Over the few years the market has gone from strength to strength yet ECL's investment hasn't grown. What is causing this? Is it a function of bad investments or a Board that is clue less? I know people that are not savvy investors and have returned more with only $10,000 to play with than what ECL has done with close to $20m! Yet the board believes they have the experience to run ECL and deliver shareholder wealth???? As a board member I would be incredibly embarrassed with the return on this portfolio. The money would have been better off in shareholders hands, I am sure they would have made a greater return individually.
Whats with the strategic review? OOOPS, it appears to be same old same old. Spend a small fortune, waste a lot of time and still in the same place with no direction moving forward.
Yet this board wants to keep running the show?
The ASX and ASIC should be embarrassed that they are letting this happen!
When will the regulators wake up?
