    An extract from today 'The Australian"----.Fortescue deal with Canberra to vex BHP and Rio

    "At the moment, it costs Fortescue about $20 a tonne to mine the iron ore and about $5 for sorting and processing, as well as the roughly $20 a tonne it will charge for transport."

    Say,if the ore is $70/ton and if RSPT passed as is. The profit can be,

    $70-$45-$14.50= $10.50/ton roughly, but there may be other costs I missed out. Can anyone give me correction!
