mr goblin,
the only real winner of MAp buying anymore airports (whether it be brussels or the indian ones) is MBL. Why? If Map gets bigger, then MAp's management fee goes up.
Whether buying more airports is actually beneficial to map is a 50/50 proposition - if it buys a stake in an airport (but not a controlling stake), they wont have the power to gear up the airport. The reasons Sydney Airport, Bristol, and Rome have been successful are because they are highly geared. Birmingham is undergeared because it is still majority owned by UK Coucils and staff.
So if MAp manages to buy a controlling stake in anotehr airport, then yes this is good. Otherwise, it may be a questionable investment.
Cheers
