Yes all those posting being critical of the payments to overseas recipients apparently want Australia to miss out. I wonder if people in the US etc criticise their government for making payments to people in Australia or are Australians the biggest whingers?
If figures posted on this thread are correct Australia recieves more Social Security money from foreign governments than it pays out to Australian pensioners overseas. That includes all types of payments under the reciprocal agreements and no specific payment can be excluded.
So stop whinging about nothing eh because as things stand we are on a winner.
