Maybe and maybe not Alan but it still works both ways.
As to the roof insulation I think that must have been a Green demand as reducing heating/cooling needs then reduces electricity consumption which then reduces greenhouse gas emissions which is what the Greens seem to be mostly concerned about along with bikeways of couse.
