LOL Misty - Gillard is the one in government passing legislation that the majority of the electorate do not want passed.

Of course she will cop criticism for getting things "done" that the majority don't want "done".

Abbott is in opposition so your constant vitriol and criticisms against him seem quite irrelevant.

And, fortunately, the libs allow freedom of speech. There is no way Abbott would prevent freedom of speech in the community and remain as leader, imo.
