The media will show whatever it can to fill in time. They don't invest a lot of time into research as it wouldn't make sense to. That being said I enjoy watching Media Watch as they do moreso than most. Maybe shoot them an email ?
At the end of the day these fat GAS producing cash cows will walk over any EIS that may appear and the government knows this as they too will be reaping the rewards of any deals made - QLD already did this a little while ago.
