where is the governance in any of these scandals? it doesn't seem to matter whether it's US sub-prime (a euphemism for real estate fraud) or whether it's ABC Learning or whatever..... and the banks, just lining up to throw billions into hollow investments - don't banks have analysts on their staff who run companies under the microscope before throwing mega dollars at them?.... the average person buying a car undertakes a more serious financial risk assessment than the people who we trust to run out financial systems.... truly pathetic...
