Have read a couple of articles following Paulsons (the hedge fund guy) entry into the gold market that state that he spots an opportunity, takes his position and waits patiently. These articles say that this is how he made his money on sub prime i.e. sitting on his position from 2005 until it made good in 2007.
We need to be patient to maximise returns....
