I don't disagree that $7.50 is still undervaluing Santos & factoring in future returns should see this somewhere well North of $10 especially once the debt straw man has been muted..

What issue is there but the debt? - and its only scary because of how it looks - S&P have still got Santos 2 notches above the danger zone so even if in the future S&P decided to downgrade it most likely would only do so one notch - then we should be worried - but they've got time - they'll sell something and raise some cash - pay a little debt back - even getting rid of just $1 bil in the short term will go some way to reducing the possible future downgrade possibility.
Santos have increasing cashflow and they're reducing spending and all that will count when S&P look over them again - not forgetting GLNG and how they bought that in on budget - which will also count as a tick.

I think we should all be feeling a lot more comfortable that sharks are circling - as its a sure sign we have things worth their efforts - and the debt isn't scaring them....

Parley weren't you talking recently of this going below $5 or lower - its good to see your bottom projection is moving North - a couple of weeks ago and your $5.50 would have been scoffed at by others not unlike yourself...how things change...
