My speculation (and my guess only) is that once SHP is able to truly scope the size of all the projects - somebody big will buy out the company.

I can't see a resource this large being allowed to struggle through all the CRs and securing bank finance, when a massive multi national can secure the resource for themselves after SHP have done the slog to prove what is there - and then that multinational will have access to the funds and expertise to push straight on with the CAPEX. And not just one site at a time - they could start works at any site they want.

- Germans might want in
- Russians might want in
- North Americans maybe
- BHP maybe not as they have their potash pot of gold already (but are example of big boys buying a project then investing in taking it to production)
- RIO to help divest from coal and steel?

I feel this project - once it can market the numbers to the world - is ripe for acquisition next year.
