Guys, come on. Have you never watched a biotech or resource stock ramp up towards an announcement of a phase starting/ending or a drill spudding/ flowing? It ALWAYS does this. Always, always, always. It's been repeated a million times before but it's called "buy the rumor sell the fact".
Unless there is news from the company about money flowing into their bank accounts any other news will only see a spike in the share price followed by a gradual (or sharp) drop back down.
Best time to get into a biotech stock is in the few weeks leading up to Phase I or Phase II announcements (unless you are holding on for years waiting for FDA approval).

Good luck. I'll be keeping an eye on VLA but not expecting a bounce back up to 11c and beyond until towards end of Phase II.
