$7.9 Million Raised from Successful Share Purchase Plan
The directors of Orchard Petroleum Limited (ASX: OPL) are pleased to announce that OPL has raised
$7,931,110 through its Share Purchase Pla n ("SPP"). The SPP opened on Monday, 11 October and
closed on Monday, 1 November. OPL received applications from approximately 1,641 shareholders.
"This is a strong shareholder vote of confidence in OPL's current strategic direction and prospects in its
oil and gas development program. We have undertaken a substantial fundraising without underwriting
fees and at a minimal cost," said OPL's Executive Chairman, Stephen Graves.
The SPP enabled eligible shareholders to subscribe for a parcel of either $5,000 or $3,000 worth of fully
paid ordinary shares in OPL at a subscription price of 26 cents per share.
All shareholders who submitted a valid application form will be allotted the full parcel of shares for
which they applied and those shares will be issued on Monday, 8 November. All shareholders allotted
shares will receive allotment notices from OPL's share registry shortly.
After this allotment, the number of fully paid ordinary shares in OPL will increase to 158,254,269. It is
expected that the shares issued pursuant to the SPP will commence trading on or about Thursday, 11
November.
An Appendix 3B seeking quotation of the shares issued pursuant to the SPP is attached to this
announcement.
