I would agree with most of what you say. However, the whole deal with phase II and III trials is that they are based on human rather than animal test subjects. Hence the reason why so many drop out at this stage. The CEO may understand the FDA process as well as any but that will do little to get MSB over the line if there are problems with the applications. All the results so far have been very encouraging ? extraordinarily so. This is revolutionary medicine. But every application must pass FDA to be viable. Although I am willing to go the distance with MSB there are bound to be quite a few more who are holding back until the green lights appear. Cephalon are not one of those people ? a fact I find encouraging.
