Great lesson here with FMG, BHP and others. In January, when things were tough, the end-of-the-worlders were all over this saying it was doomed to die a horrible death etc etc. But the oft quoted Buffetism about buying quality companies when others are fearful couldn't be more apt in this case.

Hotcopper seems to almost be a psychiatrists couch for the unstable, overly emotional, hysterical naysayers at times, just as much as it is a waterbed to the overly optimistic and gullible. Those who bought in January must be feeling very pleased with themselves right now, and rightfully so.
