    63.""

I beg to differ, I still read it 3 ways. Therefore 3 answers

    7 men have 7 wives which means there are 7 couples, 7 +7 = 14.
    If each couple has a child, that’s 14 + 7 = 21.
    Mt first answer is
    21.

    7 men have 7 wives, that means they have one wife each ,7 + 7 = 14.
    Each wife has 7 children, 7 x 7 = 49.
    Add the men and wives, 49 + 14 = 63.
    My second answer is
    63

    If EACH of the 7 men had 7 wives each, 7 x 7 = 49 wives.
    Add the 7 men, 49 + 7 = 56.
    Then add the number of children, 7 x 7 x 7 =343.
Then add the number of men and wives to the children, 343 + 56 = 399.
    My third answer is
    399

Hope this clears it up for you
