if they didn't want to get stuck with that amount they would have slowly sold down during the day rather than spook the shareprice and risk making a substantial loss rather than a small loss or break even.
dumping large amounts like that in the sell line is a clear case of capping, it happens quite often in spec shares like EXM but what usually happens when they are pulled is an upward surge in the shareprice.
