    certainly there is the remnant rebate of PVA purchase. nothing more than that. we are even being paid a woeful feed-in tariff by energy providers. so overall its seems we who have PVAs are subsidising the cost of those who don't have PVAs.

    according to CSIRO and IEA the cost of pumped hydro is greater than onshore wind and solar, but less than offshore wind, coal, gas or nuclear. the problem with pumped hydro is the appalling mismanagement of the build for Snowy 2.0. see Genex west of Cairns. they're building pumped hydro, soon to be completed, at a far lower cost than the Lib govt build.

    yes the Labs are burdened with the cost of Liberal neglect. thats what happens in the absurd fluctuation between right and left wing parties. honestly logco, imo we should never let ignorant ideologue politicians anywhere near important projects. the Libs proved just how incapable pollies are at managing the nation. (sorry if this cuts too close to the bone logco, but there it is).
