(Apart from the obvious dangers nuclear power plants present due to accidents, natural disasters, war and terrorist threats, only fools would consider nuclear as an option especially in Australia where renewable energy comes to the fore). All nuclear power is heavily subsidised by governments for the masses. It is nothing more than Dutto's lame distraction to deflect away from renewable energy. Everyone knows the COALition is pro fossil fuel, anti renewable energy, anti-electric vehicles. This is the alt Right ultranationalist, Advance White Australia Party funded by fossil fuel companies. The COALition doesn't have a progressive energy policy so nuclear is the farcical platform they adopted to keep the oil burning. The facts are nuclear energy is the most expensive form of power generation. Look at the facts and don't be in denial. It's no wonder the COALalition and their sheep have to resort to lies and propaganda and have been righly booted off our mainland. Tassie is their last hold out. The cheapest form of power generation is renewable energy, solar and wind. Solar is the the best and cheapest for of power generation especially now battery storage is mainstream. The battery storage for renewable power has simply made a great thing nearly perfect.
