We have that now and it isn't working. No power when the sun doesn't shine and the wind isn't blowing. Batteries will never cover the gap.
We need more coal and gas fired power or Nuclear. Take your pick. I'm happy with coal and gas, that useful CO2 would be an advantage for plant growth and food production.
l can't help it if you're too thick to do any research.
