What plan do Labor have, except to subsidize renewables last budget it was $34 billion but no details on the size of the build, there have been many estimates of cost of going renewable up to $1.3 trillion, so Labor need to come clean on their plans and where it will end.

Governments want business and home consumers to go away from gas and take up electricity and that cost will be enormous let alone the estimate of a 50% rise in electricity consumption, phasing out coal over the next few years with Yallourn that produces 5000 MW closing in mid 2028 and Loy Yang scheduled to close in 2035 that produces 2200 MW.
We are getting to the pointy end of the issue and as far as I can we will have blackouts unless we start to build peaking gas plants now.
Why does SA have 70% renewables yet have the most unstable grid in the country and usually the highest cost power when we are constantly being told that renewables are the lowest cost power.
