They can carry on about the costings but the 7 plants are still much cheaper than Dans rail link to nowhere.
Reliable base load power more is far more important to the economy and peoples lives than a rail link!!
The CSIRO and AEMO last month published their annual GenCost report. Based on the capital cost of a large-scale nuclear plant in 2023 — $8655/kW — the agencies estimated it would cost a minimum $8.5b to build a large scale 1gW nuclear plant. So 7 would total $59.5B
