Well I don’t know how to answer. MQ wanted to reduce their hefty holding to a reasonable 30% and cash in after 10 years to boost MQG’s coffer is entirely understandable. You’ve been fattening a promising pig but not too sure how big the pig will end up so you sell half your pig to get immediate money for your family as a hedge when the auction is red hot.The question should instead be “Why Institutions liked the IPO price of $ 5.31and took up the offer after reviewing the prospectus and all. Sandy 68’s computer can give you the plot and export a “Big Red Hot Warning sign” . But nevertheless it happened with big shots and all the funds that were behind them decided to take up a slice at $5.3 after hundreds if not thousands computer simulation and get probably hundreds of “ Computer says no” and yet decided to join the party. I suppose that’s what makes us human. There are people in Nasdaq valuing Palantir at $46b USD and Palantir are making a loss quarter after quarter. That’s just the market , I personally have a different risk profile for different sector and Sandy can have his own basing on his algorithm plots.
