I'll be honest, it's all very confusing. Months back everyone was talking about acreage value, now we are talking production. Sure, I'm aware that the sales of hydrocarbons definitely add money to the bank. Perhaps half the reason the SP is stagnant is that with a business model for monetization that is more complex than just a traditional energy producer, more complex than that of a land developer, people are just too unsure on how to extrapolate a total value for the company even with an educated guess on where it is headed.
Secondly, it would be interesting to see ASX energy producers listed so we could compare average daily BOE figures for the year, and what that corresponds to as a MC. It's basic, but I'm sure it would give some perspective.
