7 wells in 10 months

all up 6 more wells to come following Kowalik in the 10 months ahead. busy schedule for ADI imho.. in all the time i have held, which is from the start, there has never been this type of activity, there have been many years of frustration in oilsearch getting approvals from yemen, and the years of delays in the sugarkane whilst TCEI and COP lease buying was critical and exploration was secondary. these two regions are now clear of the restrictions to explore, and its time for ADI to have discovery and exploration wells drilled one after the other. A very exciting phase in the near term..

the jvp partners here is australia with ADI have agreed to 4 wells in a row in texas. All to be put on production immediately after completion.

Wisteria Exploration well can be anytine in the next months imho..

2 Exploration wells with Oilssearch in the highly prospective yemen block 7.



As for the first of 7, the Kowalik well has again been very promising for the jvp, its detected the chalks and seen the same elevated hydrocarbon readings in the chalks.. now they switch to the water based mud and drill horizontal.. underbalanced this time...

staying in zone 1 wont be an issue for the kowalik well with the well and drill techniques being optimal for an open hole completion high in the chalks zone.. we will all be hoping and expecting that some fractured chalks intervals are present in the region as seen in live oak to the west where conocophillips have been busy for many years.
