Hello all. I am lurking with thoughts of possibly buying a parcel of AZK. My question to the group though (and I hope someone can answer this suitably) is this:

Brainchip has given a demonstration of a a simulated race car learning to navigate a track. That is all well and good but this technology was patented in 2008. Why has it taken so long to get to the point of a simulated race car? What has happened in the last seven years that this is as far as they have progressed?

The technology is interesting for sure BUT I find it a little disconcerting that it has taken seven years to reach a stage where there has only been a simulated demonstration. After seven years of development, I want to see this thing demonstrated in the new arm of an amputee, not a simulated race car.
