As shorters tend to aim at an event, I'm trying to think what else I might be missing. (Unless the shorts are a proxy for the general market)

I think the chance of a successful class action or a new class action has significantly decreased since the APRA ruling. I doubt APRA will appeal.
The provisioning may still be light.
I can't see bad news in terms of the P&I transaction. that looks more like a win win for IOOF.
Clearly margins are under pressure, but I don't see that as an event. With the markets strength the DH19 result shouldn't be particularly weak.

Anyone else see any other submerged icebergs?
