    and so you are happy to just let them leave, without any thought of the direct and indirect jobs, the drop in exports, to be potentially replaced by imports, and the reduction in taxes at state and federal level??

    just because the green deal forces very high prices for the main cost input to an industry.

    i get that it would be unlikely that new smelters would locate here as the costs would not be economic, but it is worth a flicker of consideration, that existing industries should be reviewed and not just closed down immediately.

    the problem with the green religion is that all the jobs will be gone, all the taxes would be cut and our lives will be irreversibly impacted.

    i don’t remember being asked if we wanted to go back to the dark ages in our lives. Did I miss that referendum??
