lots of pros and cons in the scenario of older experienced people in politics. I don't see a problem with people with active intelligence who have critical analysis ability holding positions in parliament.
both Biden and Trump have their failing cognitive processes devolving entropically, even if one discounts creeping senility.
yet dementia can onset as early as the mid 30s. also psychological pathological processes are clearly an issue in younger people too.
imo all political candidates should have a complete psychometric testing done and made public before elections. this would weed out some loonies and dysfunctional party climbers too.
