Out of context, the quote -- Too many making it off the taxpayer --- was in response to a post that said the migrants coming here do well, the fact is that there are too many who come here to simply live off the government
Another quote was -- don't introduce methods to control their spending as creates police state.
The purpose of welfare is to support people who do not have an income, so rather than hit them on the head with a punitive action fix the problem as to why they don't have an income
There will always be some who fall through the cracks and to make the system perfect we will need jack booted riot police spying on every move of the population
The reason they don't have a job can usually be tracked back to government actions.
I fully agree we need more freedom of activity but that must be between clearly defined rules which are enforced.
If there were no migrants, if there were no fly-in workers the system would reset and become stable again
Why should the country wreck itself by providing cheap labor for multi nationals by importing labor, the White Australia policy was one of the reasons that Australia developed so well as an independent country and that policy was formed on the basis of not allowing cheap/slave labor to wreck our conditions
