Firstly quit being so gullible. 777 was the biggest points plunge in history, not the biggest percentage drop in history. Hardly worth mentioning in that context considering from a percentage point of view the DOW has dropped more then that 16 times before.

Secondly the bill wasn't passed because the tax payers are against it. There is a election just around the corner. Its clear the majority of the members voted against it to give them a better chance of re election.

If it wasn't election time it would have been passed.
