    Just checked gold versus all currencies - the US dollar is rising strongly against virtually everything else. Gold is dropping with the euro, oil etc. It is still A1143.
    Gold may well go to $700 - if the US dollar continues to rise - but may well stay well above the thousand mark in Australian dollars and high in other currencies.
