I talk a lot about the damage which John Howard did
but it’s not just to point out for the sake of saying ‘it’s his fault’
in Howard’s case- it’s required to be pointed out so people can see that we still operate on his design - the whole concept of his is still acceptable to a large amount of people because they aren’t aware of how he engineered our political culture and thinking
the entire Liberal party is still fully glued to his design and can’t even see it
that’s a different picture to Andrews’s
you’re not even pointing out his design faults and how they are affecting thinking today
there’s no point just standing back and saying - it’s his fault - unless you say how it was - and only if the same mistakes are still being made
Then you have to say how to fix them - if it’s possible
