The best thing about the 70s to 90s was New Years Eve at Yungaburra. The coppers would turn a blind eye to everything and we could under age drink and run amuck in the main street/pub/marketground/bowls club and all would be merry. Then around 2000 it went sheethouse. New breed coppers quartered off the pub, no drinks in the street. Definitely no underage drink which was ironic since that was the oldest we'd been at that point lol
