Kids at the bottom,...what a kill joy, that was part of the fun.
Our hill was probably bordering on 1/2 k long, last section steep and run into a tee junction. Country area, so when a car come along, you just headed bush lol.
There used to be at least 4 of us and it was a game of chicken, trying to run each other off the road. The shortest carts seemed to win the day. Mine was a small 3 wheeler bike, with the front converted, an axle with 2 wheels and the seat was one of those old steel safety helmets nailed upside down and low to the ground.
