We made great bows and arrows.
The bow was a dry palm frond stem with the thorns removed from a Washingtonia palm that are thick and flexible.
Arrows made from dry bullrush stems with a .303 bullet tip from the rifle range and a chicken feather.
Add a 100 pound nylon fishing line and we could easily penetrate a 44 gallon drum or even kill someone.
