I just want to add that, after Ding has made the first payment of AUD 70mio, what are the chances that he will not pay for the rest. It will be just stupid to just forgo the $$$, don't think sage will give him a refund.

Putting it in simple terms, all the 'big boys' will/should jump on when the first payment is made, which is pretty much a guarentee of the whole project.

IMO, with in 2-3 weeks of the announcement we should see an 8 in front of the SP(if not more), without too much hassle.

That is if come mid september, the us sub-prime crisis don't aggrevate and the feds do cut the cash rate. Otherwise, with bad market expectations, it will halt the momentum of the sp (not for too long tho).
