Under normal circumstances you would expect an announcement of this type to move the valuation dial a little, one way or the other. However under the ridiculous pricing scenario we have now the choice is only -50% bad news or +100% good news for normal retail punters. Take your pick. If this stock is so undervalued that the directors feel slighted at the idea of aconsolidation, then it is incumben on them to show us how the true value proposition and back it with some solid on-market buying.
