Going on recent form of delays in updates beyond the promised deadline, there will not be an announcement until some time Monday London trading time which will Tuesday in Australia.
JLP trading @ 10.8p now = 15.9c = 5.3c per PLA share if a 1 for 3 deal. One would guess JLP would rise a fair bit on news of deal being confirmed where the little fish swallows up the much bigger fish. A quick in JLP rise to 15p on news would not be out of the question = 7.4c per PLA share if 1 for 3.
If it is any worse than 1 for 3 PLA shareholders might revolt and ask for assets to be auctioned off - there is not much trust in deals negotiated by PLA management and a 'no' vote on principle would be an easy reflex.
As for PLA shareholder losses, Acorn thought they were getting in super cheap when they bought 5% for $10m @40c per share a few months before the trading halt. Most on PLA register would be in at much higher prices than this. So it will take a lot of good management by JLP and gains in sp of the merged entity to get back losses of the capital invested in PLA and its potential.
