As expected, next to no news in this report. Important to note that they did maintain guidance which given we are almost 2 months into the 6 months to June 30 bodes well that guidance is currently being achieved.
$13.3 million spent on exploration but no recent drilling results which is disappointing. Would be good to know if they are drilling at Mt Monger, especially at Flora Dora which was mentioned last year. They should speed things up at Deflector as well given its potential.
Average price in the first half was $2,516. This will be around $200 higher this half given current prices and hedging.
As usual no presentation and no conference call. Share price won't be moving anytime soon.
Not sure who is calling the shots on communication releases but whoever it is - the Board or CEO - they need to be sacked.
Gold sector still doing tough all round but personally I wouldn't want to be holding long term bonds in this environment - worthless scraps of paper with interest rates rising. Will be carnage on the bond market at some point.
No idea where share price is going. SLR will need to meet guidance for this half before any significant turn around in my view.
