Note how the supposed journalists of the abc NEVER ask the premiers when the lock downs are going to stop?
We are all going to get covid eventually because, in the undeveloped world people live side by side- we can't invade their nations and force them to lockdown. That means this thing is going to keep on incubating in new hosts and perhaps we can even use the terminology gestate, for this incubation period gives birth to new variants of the virus. In these new hosts the virus is going to keep morphing in different directions. The process won't suddenly cease.
So, why is the 'responsible abc' not asking when the lock downs will end? All well and good for public servants at the abc to get a pay cheque no matter how little work they do but, business in the real world can't keep locking down for years to come.

The first state in Aus to declare no more lockdowns past a certain date, will see a similar boost in population, purely because people want to work and not live in fear. Earlier this year so many escaping from Victoria's lock downs, pushed the housing prices in Southern NSW up considerably.
