many are retiring and not being replaced at the rate necessary for the rising need
it's one reason why immigration can't be stopped ----------- the shortages in so many critical areas would bring crisis to most areas in society
it's a result of decades of poor management ------- low wages, bad working conditions, lack of support for teaching and training the needs of the nation ------- concentrating on a flawed philosophy of 'user pays' -
thinking that it's nursing students and medical students etc are the 'user'
they are not ----------- the biggest user is the nation ------------- and it refuses to pay -
so, we are where we are because of cut, cut, cut, save money and don't invest
no nation was ever built on such recipe and philosophy - not ever
