DG and SJ. I do not think you are correct here. KZL is a producer, not an explorer. They have some assets that have been mined for some time (other than LL), therefore little or no depn allowed. They will pay like BHP and RIO. Based on what Rudd has said, any profit greater than 7% will be taxed. Yes, if it does come in, it will be in 2 years, but KZL is getting hammered because Mungana will suffer. Will KZL be eligible for grants? Hard to tell, but I wouldn't bet on it.

This is an insidious, idealogical tax by labor that will not benefit Aust. It will harm Aust for generations to come.
