I have also spoken to the company and confirmed this is now a focus, and they are even open to non media assets The last few years has been focused on debt reduction. The last twelve months has seen them move into a decent net debt position. I also think they now recognise industry consolidation may not be the way to go , especially given sevens trouble. The only way a merger may be on the table is if Seven recapitalised and consolidated its shares ln issue
