Onyx, you are right in saying that the price will fall by more or less the dividend amount. However if you are on a lower tax bracket and hold the stock for the required no of days then the franking credits attached to the dividend can be very useful.
Also being in coking coal there is every possibility of capital gains as well going forward.
I think if you hold the stock for some time then u can get the break even price easily on the stock which means the 77.5c divi will be ur gain.
DYOR though. For me I think its a good buy.
