It does come across a bit weird when they say we didn't know what antimony was, but we've been looking into it for a few months.
But when antimony can be put into AuEq terms, and can be processed (cheaply?) through floatation, with the possibility of grants, then I see it as worth looking into, particularly at RPM (re-sampling), and Trumpet (drilling) and possibly the veins at Stibium.
They'll be checking the plausibility of the following options:
- Agglomerated Heap Leach (improving Korbel economics?)
- Microreactors (lower power costs, or not)
- Expanded airstrip for bigger planes. (cheaper fuel? Or did SS2 assume fuel by road?)
- Cost of refining antimony, by floatation? (profitable by-product?)
- Pit angles (lower waste?)
- Shorter snow road coming off the initial half length road spur, which has strong odds of happening? (lower CAPEX? or maybe SS2 assumed a full length road already)
- Probably lots more, I forget what else.
