Worst still, Australia caps flights again and no flights back for months.

YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND OUR GOVERNMENT HAS NO DESIRE TO LET US OUT OF HERE!.

As much as it annoys me, all of us will be domestic tourists in 2021, with maybe NZ being our sole oversea's option throughout 2021.

Just my own research and opinion. As usual DYOR. Australians spent $43+ billion on overseas holidays last year (Total is $65 Billion for all overseas trips). Assuming only half of that is available due to people being jobless, the Vic situation or afraid to fly or prefer drivimg instead, that’s $30 Billion plus on top of existing domestic tourism spend which last year was $77 Billion. Take roughly half of that due to being jobless, Vic situation, people who prefer driving or just scared to fly, it would be $35 Billion. I haven’t taken into account all the job keeper money thrown around or the NZ bubble. If Victoria manages to clear COVID then the domestic spend would higher.
