Say you bought a million options at 0.006 under EYM and a million options at 0.004 under HDY.
Total cost is $10k, with an average of 0.005
But, your brokerage platform only recognises the $4k cost of the HDY transaction - and with 2million options it will 'show' an average of 0.002. Which is not correct.
