Communism had it right it that it acknowledged if you want to talk to your god you can do it anywhere, anytime. You don't need a building, special clothes or any money. Just chat away (don't be surprised if they don't talk back). You don't need armies or pilgrims or missionaries to convince others you god is the better god... just talk to your god any time you want, the state does not need to get involved.
