According to my primary school maths and reasoning it's 16.
Brackets first so 8/2x4
I was told to do things in order of left to right when it was a division or multiplication followed by another division or multiplication.
so it's basically 4x4
so to get then answer of 1 you need you have to process the equation backwards 4x2/8
we do things left to right (apart from brackets) not right to left.
